TOPT, Thanksgiving and Black Friday!!
I am very proud to say that I past my TOPT (Texas Oral Proficiency Test) Spanish Exam!! I hadn't want to get my hopes up just in case but when I recieved my scores I was soo soo EXCITED!! I called David and we managed to re-create those whole dropped call commercials. I finally got thru where he could hear me and got to announce my wonderful news!! I just have one more exam to take before I will graduate 100 % Bilingual Certified. I looking forward to graduation because that will be a closing of a chapter that I have been working on for the past 5 years. We have been working on getting the house ready for our new addition but in the mean time David has started working on the "Anderson Grill". He is building us a small outdoor patio area in the backyard to enjoy during the summer and warm days. It'll have an area for food serving and all the stuff he'll need to store his grill. Its coming along pretty well he's made the base area all we need is to get the decking portion started but the weather threatened to be rainy. Our Thanksgiving's were as normal every year. David got up really early and went with his parents to Benbrook to see his niece and spend some time with them. I went to my parents and had lunch with my parents, brother and sister's family. It was nice to have such a quiet meal or that could have been because we were starving and were all eating versus talking. David came home around 5 ish that evening and headed over to my parents around 8ish. We had our full family dinner will all 31 members of my family! Then we all planned our Black Friday itineraries!...I woke up at 3 am and made my way to my parents by 3:30 am...just to have to wake all of them up myself! We hit Circuit City, Office Depot, Old Navy, Kohl's, Wal-mart and then headed home around 10 am! Yes I did almost 6 straight hours of shopping! Later that evening we went to see Twilight!! I am certainly looking forward to a quiet weekend at home with David and Zoe!
