Lego, JVC & Netflix and DJ!

Well...I haven't blogged in a while...since I can't be online while Davids working I've just been getting things ready or packed around the house. My mom has been coming by once a week to help me clean up which has been wonderful! Aside from that I've been keeping up with all our laundry so that when we come home from the hospital there isn't much to do! Speaking of...Dj's bag is packed...our bag is packed...camera bag is ready to go...and today we got our newest addition to camera's a CAMCORDER!! We got the black one so that we could capture all our first moments with DJ!

Aside from this we also purchased a deep freezer last week so that we could stock up on groceries and not need to go to the store so often. So far it has been wonderful! Its working great outside and we certainly couldn't of gotten it without David's dad's help! Thank You for helping us bring it home! As most know David finished GTA so for Father's Day he wanted a 2nd controller to his PS3. So we bought this combo kit that had Kill Zone 2 and the controller! We also got Lego Batman....mainly for me because Im not the best at video games and in Lego you don't die.

On the Dj home front...my stitch is OUT! So now its just whenever DJ wants to bless us with his presence! I can honestly say we're ready...just wondering and anxious of when and how it'll all happen! I finished up his nursery this week...put all but a couple finishing details. Today is 37 weeks and we're offically FULL TERM!! Its such a blessing to know we made it this far! Well I am going to get off and help David do some picking up to the house...and we're going to watch Up on Netflix....we just finished watching Fluffy: Gabriel Iglesias....let me say HILARIOUS!!

It's Been Awhile!

Wow its practically been 1 month since I've updated the blog...in the past month we had a Diaper shower for David, Diaper shower at work, worked on the nursery and David & Trey built a custom cube/bench unit for DJ's room.

We had a Diaper Shower for David here at the house! It was lots of fun...pizza, snacks, diapers, video games and a simple guys night! David's dad, uncle and friends came over...an it was awesome that Finke and Shaft were even able to make it in from Lubbock.
After David's shower work had a diaper shower for me too! It was loads of fun! Here is a video slideshow of my work and family baby shower pics!

We've done lots of work on the nursery...I'll have those pics up later. I haven't gotten them all uploaded to the computer. We have an appointment with Dr. Bass tomorrow and we'll most likely have our true time frame set tomorrow. We're thinking we have about 1 week till the stitches come out an also Dr. Maberry said that Dj is weighing in at 5.5 lbs!! and by birth should be around 7 lbs!!

Here in a bit we're going for a walk...which is a nice end to our relaxing...dinner and a movie night!!
Tomorrow we have a doctors appointment...we're praying all goes well!! And on a YAY MOMENT....David will be working out 5 am tomorrow...whew he's gonna be tired!

Peanut, DJ and much more!!

Well its been forever since I've posted or it at least seems like forever! Since last posting I got new shoes because my feet were seriously starting to hurt after a day of walking. Here is a shot of my shoes and of my 23 week TUMMY!! Being chubby doesn't make for the greatest tummy shots but gotta remember it some how LOL!! Well I love my new shoes because of course they are my favorite colors!!
On a work note...Im in the home stretch just 6 more weeks left and our last month is full of nothing but field trips and parties!! WOO HOO!! David's work is also going well although sometimes I think he gets a bit cabin feverish staying at home but we're proud to say that he PASSED (only missing a smoke alarm) his first home visit by management!!
Now on to more important matters...Baby DJ!!
We've offically done 2 of the possibly 4 registeries! My first shower will be May 16th and is being hosted by my sisters. I am proud of myself I went today and chose the crib and dresser/changer for his room and put them on layway so that they wouldn't be in the way while we're getting ready to start painting as his bedding made it in last week. Things are quickly moving along while I think we're still slowly moving! Here is the most recent sono's that we got at Dr. Maberry's office at the end of March! We've since then scheduled our 4D sonogram date and have begun talking to the photographer for our maternity session which will most likely occur mid May. As you can see in this sono he's showing off his little foot!
DJ is 12 inches long and weighs 1.7 oz.
Well I did my glucose test on Saturday morning and we'll get my results tomorrow at our appointment with Dr. Bass after school and hopefully everything is ok and no gestational diabetes. Tomorrow if weather permits my class is going to the Zoo so we'll see...I'll be sure to update how our appointment went and any new news we might have!!

Childbirth Class...Check...BF Class...Next..

Well I thought I'd update a couple minutes before the bell rings and school and my day starts! I say my day cause David's started about 1.5 hrs ago...

Tonight we have our first Breast feeding class at Hendricks. Our last Childbirth Class was AWESOME and full of information. We met with the pediatrician and she gave us some goodie bags and lots of helpful hints and even how to pick and when we can meet doctors we'd like to have. I'm looking forward to tonight and tomorrow marks the BEST POINT well up to this point in our pregnancy!! 23 weeks....viability.

Well the bell has rung and time to get to teaching!!

Mid Spring Break!

Well this week has been very relaxing and I've gotten lots done! I had a hair cut on Monday which is different finally something a bit different. Its been interesting being home while David's working but I've been making due. I've been on a cleaning spree closets, living room, and today I cleaned out our armour (sp). I've got bag loads full of clothes to donate to Mission Thanksgiving this year!! I've managed to fold all our laundry now just a matter of hanging what needs to be hung. The rest of the week my goal is to clear out David's dresser, hang clothes and start putting things back where they belong!
On Peanut news..we see Dr. Bass on Monday and so far we're doing good. I've started to have a bit more achiness but we're managing. My hair dresser gave me the number to a Prenatal Massage Therapist so I think I'll be calling her tomorrow to set up an appointment. I'm starting to buckle down on nursery ideas and make myself pick and finalize my choices on crib bedding that way we can start painting. I've got 2 more weeks till I'm technically allowed to start making purchases. I've got a swing picked out and some stuff that are must haves for his decorations just a matter of going to buy them. My mom was over this week to help me out some and has brought over some stuff from when I was little. I've got my Maghen puzzle bench and my chair that was in my nursery and continued with me the whole time I lived at home...so now its going in Peanut's room!

On a totally different side note....the stang is closer to completion and we're still trying to sell Dusty. But David is beaming with excitement because he got his PS3 yesterday and Madden 10. He connected it to our WiFi and has played Trey online. Lets just say I see him on the couch alot more now!! And getting to work earlier to play longer!!
Also a special thank you to David & Jomi for bringing me back some fruit from the valley!! It's delicious!!

From snow to Homemade TORTILLAS!!

Well to start last week off we had a wonderful SNOW Day and it was wonderful to not have to go to work and hang out at home with David. Amazingly I slept in...which is hardly happening these days. As I was uploading some pictures I completely forgot that I never put a picture of our wonderful Valentine's pizza up!! Here is a picture of what our street looked like this past Tuesday...talk about a Winter Wonderland!!
We went to see Dr. Maberry on Wednesday and we found out that Peanut aka "Tank" is 10 oz. and 8.5 inches long which makes him as he's still 95% a "him" still 2 oz. bigger than Clara when she was born but the same length. We have a week before we go back to a Dr. and it'll be to see Dr. Bass. Our appointments are getting farther and farther apart which makes me both nervous and feel calmer all at the same time because it makes us a tad bit more "normal".

Well onto our Saturday...lots of new things happened this weekend!! We got a new table from my parents, battery and fuel filter for the Tahoe and knocked in our storm shelter. Well actually David and his friends and Tim did. I'll get those pictures later. I am very proud of myself for making a true "mexican" breakfast Sunday before I headed off to church. HOMEMADE TORTILLAS and chorizo & egg. It was wonderful to have breakfast at our table on a Sunday morning!! Later that night I made red beans & cornbread!! I don't know what exactly my new found cooking interest is but Im loving it!! Tonight I made tostadas that were YUMMY!!

Dr. Bass is back!!

Well my doctor is offically back! Its almost been 6 whole weeks since I've seen him but we saw him on Thursday and he said things are going GREAT and that my surgery is working PERFECT!! That is such a good thing to hear. I will see him again in 3 weeks and next week we see our specialist! I say that the "mommy" check up went great and that our next appointment is for "Peanut's" check up! I've decided to offically wait until one more confirmation from the doctor before choosing anything for the nursery just so that we're sure that Peanut still has a Peanut!! We have colors and lots of ideas on what we'd like to have in the room just a matter of figuring things out. My mom & dad are going to be buying the crib as that is our family tradition and here pretty soon I'll actually get to go shopping for it. David wants me to wait until after 24 weeks before I start actually making purchases and I respect his decision on that so just 6 more weeks!! I am really excited about my cradle finally making its way back to me!! Its a very bittersweet circle that its made. My grandfather bought the cradle for me when I was born and since then its been used by Lauren, Andrew, Mark & Alexis, Oriana, Maddie and Louie!! So 7 babies later its Peanut's turn! My mom is on a blanket making frenzy and they are going to wonderful with all of the warm comfy clothes that Jomi has bought Peanut!! I think that I've felt Peanut some days to say "Hey Mom I'm Here"! David says that he's lazy because every time that he talks to him or messes with my stomach to get him to move he goes still. He says that now wait till its completely obvious that he's moving and we'll see who is lazy LOL! There are so many things that I'm looking forward to getting for Peanut once he's here...we'll have our Lil' Eagle FAN!! The ladies at work joke with me that I should just make his nursery Black & Gold to "brainwash" as the Cooper fans say early!
Well Lent has started and that makes my choices of food a bit different as Im always craving chicken and the latest craving is Chinese!! For Lent this year I've taken on going to church every weekend because I feel that regardless of where we've been in the past couple years God has given us so many blessings! We were blessed with a wonderful Daughter that will never be forgotten, with a wedding and for Peanut! I can also say that though this year has been hard for my sister I can say that my family is truly appreciative of the time we're given and continue to pray for her healing that God has given her!
David is out shooting at the farm again this weekend and I am about to start working on Lesson plans!!

Peanut's 1st Onesie & Drum Roll......

Well I have been trying to set up this blog for the past 2 days. For some reason my phone would send to my blog but the blog itself actually wouldn't post.

Here is a onsie that we have bought for Peanut on Monday while out shopping. We bought as neutral a color as we could find but of course it had to have STARS on it!! Peanut has a hand me down from Clara already...a very cute Nike Texas Longhorn sweatsuit...from Uncle Oscar & Aunt Kannika!! Our house will be divided...Hook'em Horns and Wreck'em Tech! David's parents got Peanut some wonderful longsleeve onsies, which I can say you can never have enough longsleeve stuff regardless of the weather outside!

Work has been kinda crazy for both us I can say this week...juggling doctors appointments here and there and trying to get David ready for work from home in the next week.

But on a good note I can offically say that:

100th Post

Well this is our 100th posting!! Woo Hoo triple digits!! David has been getting on to me for not updating the blog so I am finally taking the time to update today!! Life has been pretty decent lately. We've been getting ready for David's new Work from HOME!! Yes he will no longer have to commute across town to work but rather just get out of bed and log on and work...MUST BE NICE! I wish I had that luxury. Speaking of work its been going good. I got my laptop and all that stuff is set up at work so if push came to shove I think I could do alittle of my work from home as well but could only accomplish lesson plans and newsletters.

Today I woke up late for church which was a bummer because I've promised myself that I was going to start trying to attend more regularly than I have been since the year started. But it did give me a chance to rest and then I woke up to make us some breakfast. Its nice to have breakfast at home. We had bacon, sausage, eggs and biscuits! YUM! After breakfast we relaxed a bit and then some nesting kicked in. WE cleaned the ENTIRE pantry and kitchen...so now we're in relax mode for the rest of the day. Later today we'll be going to David's parents for the Pro Bowl!

On baby news: According to Whattoexpect.com Peanut is....Week 16 of Pregnancy: Baby's Hearing DevelopsThis little one's a looker — with a face that has both eyebrows and eyelashes — but a skinny looker since there's no baby fat yet. Baby's crown-to-rump measurement is between four and five inches, and weight is around three ounces.
This week we see both doctors...Specialist on Wednesday and then Dr. Holt on Thursday. We're praying that everything is still looking good and that Peanut is doing fine. Aside from the occasional nausea I've been pretty good. My eating habits though I seem to be hungry all the time my speed of eating has slowed down! Hopefully after this appointment Dr. Bass will be back and we'll start seeing him again but if not then Dr. Holt is a very nice doctor and has wonderful bedside manner.

Bedrest & Hospitals!!

Well I am writing this from bed as that has been my second home for the past 3 days and will be at least until tomorrow and I'll be on a modified bedrest the rest of the weekend. Hopefully by Tuesday things will be back to normal and I'll be able to go back to work. We don't have a follow up appt until Thursday next week and hopefully all goes well!!

Tuesday was Clara's birthday and we decorated her grave super cute!! She had pinwheels & giant birthday yard signs!

Thursday we were in the hospital for half a day for my surgery. We got to get home around midnight and then it was amazing to get to sleep in my own bed and I know that David was happy to be home. Well meds are kicking in so Im gonna rest again.

A heavy heart...<3

It's minutes before I leave to get lab work done...I thought I'd catch up...we're 12 weeks now with baby Peanut. We see the specialist and the doctor in a week and its so surreal how much you just want to see that your baby is ok and find out from the doctor that things are going alright....so we're anxiously waiting!! I had a bit of a scare this past week and got put on bedrest for 2 days!! I prayed and prayed yet at the same time...just put my life and Peanut's in God's Hands. He knows what he has in store for our lives and thats all we can hope for! So for the moment until I see the doctors Im on modified bedrest with work privledges and rest after!!

Our journey through pregnancy will certainly be an adventure that comes with some heartache. I know personally speaking as much as I look forward to the specialist appointment I fear it at the same time....

Tomorrow is a very important day for us...Clara's Angel~versary!! The year that we never thought we'd live through is coming to an end! And WE MADE IT!! Our family has truly been blessed and I can't help but think that Clara has a hand in all of this...Mommy got a job teaching, Mommy & Daddy got married!! and now our family is growing!!

Memories...

Well as the new year approaches we have so many blessings to be thankful for but in the back of my mind lingers one of the most important people in our lives Clara Grace. There are 13 days until her Angel~versary...I learned that tonight as I was searching online for some memorial service ideas. I love that versus anniversary or even birthday because she is our Angel and its her special day!!

David probably wishes that I'd stop having all kinds of ideas and just stick to one idea but its just so hard to figure out what I want and what is fitting for Clara's 1st Birthday! I've spent at least 2 hours tonight listening to memorial songs, reading poems and watching videos that parents have made to remember their children. It's so sad yet gives that small amount of comfort that we as parents are not alone!

Well tomorrow is New Year's Eve and we still really haven't solidified any serious plans aside form out traditional going to my parents house. I truly hope that 2010 brings us a multitude of blessings...I can say that 2009 started rough but things are looking up with our new little Peanut!! On Peanut news I go see the Neonatal specialist on the 19th and then Dr. Bass right after that appointment and we'll make a plan on how this pregnancy is going to work so that we carry as close as possible to full term. Please keep us, our family and our precious PEANUT in your prayers!!

Summer Baby!!

Well...my appointment with the nurse went great. She is a family friend so it makes things comfy knowing that. I got my list of do's and don'ts along with some free goodies!! Lots of books, bottles and formula! We go back to the doctor on December 22nd for our first Dr. Bass appointment. So far the estimated numbers are 8 weeks and 1 day today and a July 23rd due date! We're praying that everything goes well this time and we're taking it slow....and I am super excited about the fact that I'll be out for summer break during my maternity leave!!

Lights Camera Action!!

Well...I don't have a picture of our Christmas Lights...but I am super excited that we have them up this year! We've had them for 4 years now and never put them up till this year! David put up half of them and then Tim helped him finish the rest! I think this weekend we'll go get our Christmas Tree and finally make the house smell and look like Christmas inside! Today is a very exciting day for us....we go see the Nurse at Dr. Bass' office! I'll get my list of things to do and not to do anymore! I'll also have my prenatal labs done and the most exciting part is we'll find out an estimated DUE DATE!! We've got lots to be thankful this year and I want to make our holidays as special as possible. Our year started out rocky but its up to us to END it on a GREAT NOTE!! Hopefully I'll get in to see Dr. Bass next week and I'll be posting our Peanut's first picture!!

On the baby note I do have to say this time around pregnancy has been pregnancy....with Clara I didn't feel as sick but this time Im thinking SERIOUSLY....I'd like to go a moment without being nauseous and tired. But in the end its worth it so I'll just keep trucking along! Also it'd be super nice to sleep an entire night...David & I both are already sleep deprived and the baby isn't even here! Jomi bought me a body pillow and I tried it out last night I think I lasted a little bit with it but at some point I just got rid of everything!! It's winter and I'm sleeping with the FAN ON!! Well I'll update everyone on how the appointment went later today....t-minus 4 hrs till the appt!

Indians & Pilgrims!!

Well today was my classes Thanksgiving Feast!! We had an awesome turn out with all our parents that came. I had to heat my very first Turkey and it was interesting but GREAT!! We had this beautiful cake that one of my parents made!! Its just GORGEOUS and let me just say it was DELICIOUS also....I'm thinking of asking her to make my BABY SHOWER cake....yes I said it...BABY!! David & I just found out yesterday that we're expecting!! Bruno # 2 on its way!! According to calculations we're looking at a late July or early August baby!! David is beaming running around like a proud father....so I'll just sit back and keep my excitement contained. Well today is my last day of work till Nov. 30th!! YAY!!! Im gonna wind things up and head outta here!

My 1st day alone!

There are only 45 more minutes until David comes home from his first day back at work. I'vI e made it ok so far. I really missed having him home though. Even though we each usually do our own things around the house its kinda lonely being home alone. However I wasn't home alone the whole time. About an hour after David went to work my friend Erika came over with her daughter Chelsea who OMG is so much bigger than the last time I've seen her. Then about an hour later my brother came over so that we could go to Circuit City's close out sale. I wasn't impressed by the stuff or the sales prices....most of the stuff is cheaper at normal sale prices. Then we went to Academy to find a watch my brother wanted but they didn't have but I found a pair of yoga pants that looked and I am sure are super comfy for $9 I thought until I got to the check out and they were $2!! Woo Hoo even better!! So far today I've spent my entire day watching HOUSE and folding clothes. Sadly Im really tired and I haven't even done anything but I think all the moving and planning from last week and the weekend has finally taken its toll on me. I constantly think of all the things that I need to get done but just have to find the motivation to get those things done. Its kinda sad to think that Im on maternity leave from work but I don't really have "maternity" things to do. Well I started looking back at some of the posts from the past and I think that some of our resolutions have already been completed....we might not have wanted them to be but God had some other plans. I did have our baby and from medical stand points Clara Grace was healthy for her development. Now I have to start working on the rest of it. As far as getting healthier we are trying or will be trying!!

Clara Grace Anderson

Well as most know we went into the hospital with complications on Friday and left the hospital on Tuesday. We still aren't sure what happened and why it happened but that is for God to know and for us to accept. We'd been somewhat hopeful all weekend as the on call doctor Dr. Tadvick kept saying that Clara was a trooper since her little heart kept beating each time he did an ultrasound. Monday morning my doctor came in to do our daily evaluation and found that my body was in full blown labor by this time and that as much as we wanted to keep going it was impossible. I delivered our beautiful daughter around 8:30 am and she was such a fighter that her little heart kept beating for about an hour on her own. However because I was only 19 weeks along her lungs were not fully developed.

This has been one of the most difficult weeks in our lives. We've made funeral arrangements and flower arrangements and had calls from family and friends. We want to say Thank You for all the thoughts and prayers that have been sent our way ...they are certainly needed.

Tomorrow we have Clara Grace's viewing and then on Saturday her funeral...no parent ever wants to bury their child but we will and lets just say it will be hard.

To our precious little guardian angel...Mommy & Daddy love you and always will....you will never be forgotten.

We can't wait till Friday!!

We woke up pretty early for us when we don't have anything planned for our 3rd doctors appointment. It was a bit nerve wracking because as soon as we got there I had to go to the restroom...good thing is that I didn't have to walk very far. David did his normal....I give it 2 more months and you won't be able to walk up these stairs...Its so nice of him I tell ya. My goal is to always take the stairs up to our doctors office! Well we got in did the normal pre-visit stuff. We saw the nurse today cause our doctor was on vacation. We got to hear the heartbeat and this time it sounded exactly like a galloping horse...the baby was moving around alot so it took the nurse some time to get the baby in a position to hear the heartbeat and that was alittle tense...it caught me really off guard and David said I had this look of terror on my face until she finally found it. We were given our appointment with the Neo-Natal Ultrasound specialist so that we can determine development and the sex on the baby...which is what we've been looking forward to this whole time. So as of Friday that is hoping that the baby doesn't turn its butt or cross its legs we should find out what we're having!! Our goal is to take the day off to celebrate and soak the whole concept in....and of course tell our families. For those that want to know at least...because most of my family would actually like it to be a surprise but I can't put a room together until I know...its crazy to think just 4 more months!!
