Springing Forward!
On PEANUT/TANK news....we don't see the doctor until next week and then his doctor till the week after that. This weekend I took inventory of his closet....10 hangers of outfits and 3 pairs of sock shoes!! And I think my favorite at the moment is his little Ralph Lauren Polo ONESIE that I bought for him last weekend!! And just think that is just whats at mommy & daddy's house not at either grandparents or aunts house! I do have to say that we're more than blessed to have such awesome families!! Peanut/Tank will have tons of love!!
Well off to bed early morning to make breakfast for David and get the day rolling!! Too bad we have rain in the forecast!

Dr. Bass is back!!
Well Lent has started and that makes my choices of food a bit different as Im always craving chicken and the latest craving is Chinese!! For Lent this year I've taken on going to church every weekend because I feel that regardless of where we've been in the past couple years God has given us so many blessings! We were blessed with a wonderful Daughter that will never be forgotten, with a wedding and for Peanut! I can also say that though this year has been hard for my sister I can say that my family is truly appreciative of the time we're given and continue to pray for her healing that God has given her!
David is out shooting at the farm again this weekend and I am about to start working on Lesson plans!!

Happy 25th!!
Well Thursday was David's 25th Birthday and we welcomed it with SNOW & ICE. I didn't have time to get a picture of the snow so this is a picture that came from bigcountryhomepage.com. Luckily David did not have to go to work...sadly I did. I drove about 20 mph the entire way to work in blinding snow but Im glad I was only 5 minutes late for work. I left work as soon as my kids were gone for the day and spent the rest of the day with David on his birthday!! We had rented movies and had his birthday dinner just the two of us the night before so we were able to just make dinner and relax Thursday night! I made him Green Chile Casserole a family recipe that we will certainly continue as our own family recipe. Here is a picture of our casserole.Friday however we were lucky because we had a late start to school and the roads had cleared up enough that there weren't many issues driving. So around 8:30 ish we both headed out the door for work. Friday was David's last day working in the office for BCBS and I had my Valentine's Party with my kids. My kids truly enjoyed their party as we had nuggets from Chic Fil A and lots of yummy treats that my kids had brought with them! I must say that David was extremely happy to have his last day and come Monday he'll be working from home! Later that night we had David's actual Birthday Party at Lytle Land & Cattle Co. It was wonderful to spend time with family and friends. We had David's parents, my parents, both my sisters and their families and some of our friends!! Sadly I forgot to take pictures but we had a whole side of the room we were in just for our party. We had a wonderful dinner and a YUMMY cake...it was poker themed!
Today David went shooting with his dad and Dave Lee. Im glad that he finally got to use his gun and go shoot! While he was shooting I did some laundry and went to visit my sister while working on some lesson plans. After he got home we went to get some color samples for Peanut's nursery and will continue thinking of how we want to decorate his nursery. We are currently getting our fill of the Winter Olympics!!

100th Post
Today I woke up late for church which was a bummer because I've promised myself that I was going to start trying to attend more regularly than I have been since the year started. But it did give me a chance to rest and then I woke up to make us some breakfast. Its nice to have breakfast at home. We had bacon, sausage, eggs and biscuits! YUM! After breakfast we relaxed a bit and then some nesting kicked in. WE cleaned the ENTIRE pantry and kitchen...so now we're in relax mode for the rest of the day. Later today we'll be going to David's parents for the Pro Bowl!
On baby news: According to Whattoexpect.com Peanut is....Week 16 of Pregnancy: Baby's Hearing DevelopsThis little one's a looker — with a face that has both eyebrows and eyelashes — but a skinny looker since there's no baby fat yet. Baby's crown-to-rump measurement is between four and five inches, and weight is around three ounces.
This week we see both doctors...Specialist on Wednesday and then Dr. Holt on Thursday. We're praying that everything is still looking good and that Peanut is doing fine. Aside from the occasional nausea I've been pretty good. My eating habits though I seem to be hungry all the time my speed of eating has slowed down! Hopefully after this appointment Dr. Bass will be back and we'll start seeing him again but if not then Dr. Holt is a very nice doctor and has wonderful bedside manner.
